Are there a number of things you need to do that you have been putting off? Perhaps there are so many that it feels overwhelming and now you don’t know where to begin?
Here are some helpful tips:
- Write them down.
This gets them out of your head and into the form of a physical list where you can clearly see what needs to be completed.
- Prioritise them accordingly.
Some things on the list may need to be completed before others so you may feel like placing them in a particular order.
- Set a time you want to have them completed by.
This can give you motivation and a time frame.
- Break them into manageable steps.
This can give clear direction on what you need to do.
- Tick them off as you complete each task and feel the sense of accomplishment!
Often we may spend longer thinking and stressing about completing certain tasks than it takes to actually do them. Consider that when you are in the process of getting it done, it’s never as daunting as it seemed at the beginning!
