2025: TRUKs Got Talent
What an incredible night!
The Trauma Research UK Charity Ball 2025 – TRUK’s Got Talent was a huge success, raising nearly £30,000, an amazing achievement!
From Wayne Devlin’s smooth crooning during the VIP reception to the fantastic John Lennon tribute bringing back some timeless classics, the entertainment had something for everyone.
Pop royalty Lee Brennan had guests on their feet, while BGT ventriloquist finalist Steve Hewlett had everyone in stitches, including a special guest appearance from Paul Chuckle. Another BGT finalist, the outstanding Steven Hall, caught everyone out with his incredible talent.
A very special highlight this year was the exquisite Hope Tree, featuring gifts and prizes ranging from toiletries to a £1,000 diamond ring, a complete hit! The atmosphere, food, décor and company were all fabulous, with celebrities, guests and supporters enjoying every moment of a truly unforgettable evening.

Here We Go Again!
Trauma Research UK’s 2024 Charity Ball, held on Saturday, 5th October at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport, was a truly unforgettable evening filled with generosity, celebration, and deeply moving moments.
With the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and the wonderful hosts, Nik & Eva Speakman, as well as our special celebrity guests, the night was a tremendous success. The room was filled with emotion as inspiring stories were shared, reminding everyone of the profound impact our support has.
Together, we raised over £20,000! A massive thank you to everyone who contributed this year, your support helps us continue our mission to provide vital services for those affected by trauma & anxiety.
